In April 2026 Catrin and Michelle attended the 37th UK RNAP Polymerase workshop at The University of Manchester.
It was good to catch up on advances in the RNAP field and learn about RNAP research in all domains of life.
On 30/3/26 we had an extremely belated Xmas meal! Our lateness gave us the chance to say thank you and farewell to Izzy Watts and Dom Ellis (Integrated Masters project students) who have recently finished their time in the lab.
On 30/10/25 we sculpted some Halloween-themed clay models to celebrate Catrin joining the Hawkins group. Some of us even attempted DNA replication themed models!
