Hawkins group get creative

To welcome Juliana to the group we painted some pottery at Bish Bash Pot. We had a good time working on our creations and are looking forward to collecting our finished projects.

New Publication!

We are thrilled to announce a new review publication in collaboration with the Rudolph group at Brunel University London (Rudolph LAB). The review was a great opportunity for the Hawkins group PhD student, Dominika, to make her first mark in the scientific literature!

The publication 'Interplay between chromosomal architecture and termination of DNA replication in bacteria' can be found in the Front. Microbiol., published on 26th June 2023.

Summer 2023 - the Hawkins Group has grown!

Over the past few weeks, we have welcomed new members to our team, Juliana and Lily. Our lab and office are once again busy and we are excited to see all the new data that gets generated by our wonderful scientists!
